The West Grove Fire Company had some special visitors during training night, recently. Madelyn and Gabrielle Grandizio stopped by (with Mom) and delivered cookies to the volunteers and staff of the Fire Company.

The sisters are ambassadors of the One Kind Cookie organization, which believes in the power of the cookie and its ability to connect people, bring smiles, stir conversation, comfort, and cheer. Armed with this simple bit of baked goodness, the organization's founder and countless others have been spreading smiles, appreciation and most of all, KINDNESS since December 2014. With the Cookies for a Cop and Fire Friends project, a simple act of kindness becomes a huge statement of support and appreciation when multiplied hundreds of thousands of times across the country. #sweetkindness.

The Grandizio's are from the greater West Chester area and drove down to the WGFC to spread some good cookie cheer. We were honored to host Madelyn and Gabrielle and eat some really delicious cookies!
