Santa Completes 100+ Mile Tour with the WGFC -- Returns to the North Pole

December 19, 2020

Santa has completed his tour of the greater Avon Grove community for 2020 and is returning to the North Pole to complete his preparations for Christmas, now just a few days away.

This year’s Santa processions through the townships on the big yellow fire truck from the West Grove Fire Company was held the last three Saturday’s and covered more than 100 miles of area roads! It is a community tradition – with boys and girls of all ages getting a chance to see Santa all across the WGFC area, with the sounds of sirens and flashing lights.

Yes, it is 2020 so things were different this year as we worked to protect everyone’s health and safety. So rather than make scheduled stops at dozens of housing developments, this year Santa paraded through the townships without stopping. And, for the first time, the WGFC used a real-time tracking tool to let everyone know just where Santa was on his area journeys.

We are most grateful for the support of the community and appreciate the donations that help support our operation and the Santa program. Additional donations can be sent to the WGFC PayPal account (see the Donate button on our home page). Contributions can also be sent by mail to Santa, c/o WGFC, PO Box 201, West Grove, PA 19390.
