About 200 feet of woods burned after a trash pile was left unattended and extended into brush and woods in New London.
WGFC crews used booster lines to put out two separate areas of woods burning.

Firefighters from the West Grove Fire Company were alerted at 3pm on Saturday for a brush & woods fire along State Road.
The Chester County 911 Center reported approximately 200 feet of brush and woods on fire in the rear of a residence at 1250 State Road in New London Township. Engine 22-1, Brush 22, Tanker 22, and Utility 22 responded, along with an ambulance and WGFC fire police.
Engine 22-1 went on scene and reported two areas burning behind the homes, and deployed booster lines from the engine and brush to quickly extinguish the blaze. The fire originated in a trash pile burning from the previous evening left unattended. WGFC crews were clear in about 45 minutes.
