The 10th Annual Paradocx Vineyard Community Day was held on Saturday, June 9 and units of the West Grove Fire Company were on hand to show off the oldest and newest apparatus.

With 30 acres of ground under vine, Paradocx is one of the community's most established vineyards. This year, the team at Paradocx decided the event would benefit the West Grove Fire Company. Several hundred people attended the event from 4pm to 9pm, with wine and beer tastings, a variety of local vendors with products to show and sell, activities for the kids, and great food.

Members of the fire company were proud to show off the company's newest truck -- Ladder 22. The 105' Ladder flew the company's large American flag high over the event, while Antique 22, the WGFC's 1928 Hale pumper, was also on display. WGFC fire police helped park cars, and one of the company's ambulances was also on hand.

We are most grateful to the Hoffman and Harris families and the Paradocx Vineyard team for their support of the WGFC, and for planning and executing a great event.
