WGFC at Pinewood Derby

West Grove Fire Company provided support to the Chester County Council Boy Scouts as they held a Pinewood Derby at Crossan Park in Franklin Twp on Saturday. Multiple Scout groups from around the county raced their homemade race vehicles down the nice paved driveway at the park.
WGFC attended to provide on scene medical assistance should the racers suffer the minor scrapes and bruises that could have occurred. Fortunately, there where only a couple minor scrapes patched up with some elaborate bandages our staff came up with to help the Scouts get back into the spirit of the day. A great time was enjoyed by all participants and their parents.
