The month of November will be dedicated to the training objectives of Ladder Company operations. Topics covered over the month will include apparatus placement, crew job assignments and situational awareness of the first due ladder company. Familiarizing with equipment on the new ladder truck delivered this summer. Throwing ground ladders in the rescue and fire fighting positions utilizing one and two man raising techniques. Ladder driver/operators will be working on apparatus placement and positioning of the main ladder based on tactical objectives.

A special thanks to the Avon Grove Charter School administration for allowing us to use the school for our most recent training session, and to the dedicated WGFC members who dedicate their time to build on their skills.
