On Wednesday June 7th over 40 EMS and Fire Personnel from West Grove, Union Fire Company #1 and Keystone Valley Fire Department gathered at Station 2 for a training session on combating the opioid epidemic. Dr. Derek Isenberg, an attending Emergency Room Physician at Temple University Hospital who serves as the Medical Director for the 3 aforementioned agencies arranged for Dr. Kristin McCloskey to come out and host our quarterly training. Dr. McCloskey is a Toxicologist and put on an incredible presentation, educating first responders on several aspects of treatment and the emerging opioid epidemic.
