Thursday afternoon West Grove Fire Company was dispatched to a woods fire on Chambers Road in London Grove Twp. Dry conditions over the last couple weeks has created a greater hazard for fires to quickly spread; the nice weather has enticed homeowners to start spring cleaning of their properties. WGFC urges caution to all homeowners to closely watch and have a garden hose at the ready should they opt to burn leaves and twigs.

While we were operating on this alarm the Singerly Fire Company of Elkton was dispatched to a large outside fire the eventually required multiple units to contain. West Grove Engine 22-1 with a crew of Six volunteers responded to their Station 13 to provide coverage for them while they were operating.
