Santa Visits the Community!

Starting in late November, the men and women of the West Grove Fire Company were proud to continue the tradition of escorting Santa throughout our community on the front of a fire truck. Santa stopped to hear the wishes of hundreds of children and take photos with them and their families. The visits continued almost nightly until Santa had racked up 30 visits to neighborhoods and Scout packs, and handed out more than 1,000 candy canes!

The West Grove Fire Company is committed to fire safety throughout the year, with at-school education performed each October for more than 5,000 children. In keeping with that commitment, Santa's helpers also handed out very timely brochures on holiday fire safety to residents who accompanied their children.

If you would like Santa to visit your neighborhood or organization such as the Scouts next year, please submit a request after the summer using our website WGFC.ORG, see the “Requests” option on the left side of the WGFC.ORG homepage.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, a Joyous Kwanzaa and a
Safe, Prosperous and Happy New Year!
