Around 1108hours Rescue 22 and Ambulance 22-1 were dispatched to Paschall Mill Road for a vehicle into a utility pole with wires down and one person to be checked.
Ambulance 22-1 arrived on scene stating the utility pole was split in half with wires down on the vehicle. The ambulance crew treated and transported the operator to the local hospital. Rescue 22's officer advised Fire Board of the PECO pole number and location to have PECO notified.
Assistant 22 arrived on scene and had Rescue 22's crew close Paschall Mill Road at Baltimore Pike and Rescue 12's crew close Paschall Mill Road at Woodview Road. After the road was closed all West Grove units went available.
Ambulance 22-1 completed transport and went available at 1137hours.
