Just as lunchtime approached for most, the West Grove Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike & Baker Station Road in London Grove Township. The assignment brought Rescue 22 with a driver, Rescue 12 with four and Ambulance 22-2.
Ambulance 22-2 went on location and reported a two vehicle crash blocking and that they would be out investigating. Rescue 22 arrived and Fire Sergeant 22 established command soon after held the assignment to what was on the street. Rescue 12 approached the scene from the Lake Road side and the crew split to assist with traffic control and checked on hazards with fluids leaking from both vehicles.
Ambulance 22-2 transported one patient to Christiana Emergency Room for treatment, while command requested another BLS unit to the scene for another patient. Ambulance 23 arrived and the patient ended up refusing treatment.
