On Monday evening the members took part in a training session designed to bring to light all of the challenges and dangers faced when dealing with emergencies that involve Hybrid and all Electric vehicles. Thanks to Nucar Chevrolet of New Castle Delaware the members were able to get a hands on look at a 2013 Chevy Malibu Hybrid to actually see an example of these challenges. The information discussed was a combination of presentations put together by Ron Moore (University of Extrication articles, Firehouse Magazine) and Montgomery County Md Fire and Rescue.
